Students build real apps with AI& Learn the skills that matter for what’s next.
BuilderAcademy is a hands-on course where students 14 and up use AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex to design, build, and deploy working web apps. No prior coding experience required.
Built by engineers educated at MIT and Harvard.
What they’ll build
Real projects. Not coursework.
By the end, students have a portfolio of working software they actually shipped — not notebooks or tutorials nobody will read.
A personal portfolio site
Design and ship a personal website from scratch — domain, hosting, the works. A real public artifact, not a screenshot.
A full-stack app with a database
Real client, real server, real persistence. Model data, build an API, deploy to a cloud server they manage themselves.
A fully functional deployed AI web tool
Students design and deploy an AI-powered web tool of their own — a real product running on a real URL that they can share, demo, or list on a college application.
What they’ll learn
A working mental model of how software gets built today.
An end-to-end sweep across AI tooling, web fundamentals, deployment, and the patterns that tie them together. Every topic appears in something students actually ship.
AI coding tools
The core of the course. Students don't just use AI — they learn to direct it, debug with it, build agents around it, and ship with it as their primary collaborator.

Why parents choose BuilderAcademy
What your child takes away.
Future-proof AI fluency
AI tools are becoming a baseline skill, not a bonus. Students learn to use them well — not just consume them.
A portfolio that signals
Real shipped projects are the strongest signal in college applications and internship pipelines. Stronger than any course certificate.
End-to-end ownership
Students take each project from first sketch to a deployed, public URL. They see how the whole stack fits together.

Questions
The usual ones, answered.
Does my child need any coding experience?+
No. The course is designed for complete beginners. We start from first principles and use AI tools to accelerate hands-on building from day one.
What ages is this for?+
Ages 14 and up. The course is designed for high school students, college students, and anyone older who wants to learn this way. Younger motivated students may also be a fit.
What does my child need to get started?+
A laptop (Mac, Windows, or Linux), a stable internet connection, and a few hours per week. We provide accounts and credits for the cloud services used in the course.
How long does the course take?+
Most students complete the full curriculum in 8–12 weeks at a few hours per week. They keep lifetime access to course materials regardless of pace.
What if they get stuck?+
Getting stuck is part of learning. The course is built around the same AI tools students are learning — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex — so working through a problem is itself part of the skill being built.
